It’s been nine years since my last review about this tiny wing shack but it hasn’t been that long since I’ve been here. When I’m in the area I come here for the New York Sabret grilled hot dogs. I’m a big fan of them. They do put ketchup on them but you can hold it for the typical Chicago style fixins’. I haven’t had the wings for some time because of the hot dogs but there are every bit as good as any I’ve ever had which includes Gators which I love. The fact that they’ve been here on this sort of off the beaten path of Hawley street should say something about it’s food. For dogs and wings this is a must stop. Every menu item is cooked to order so it will take a few minutes to get your food but it’s worth it. Indoor and outdoor dining.
We ordered the party tray, we had the mild and honey BBQ sauce. Both sauces were delicious. I have found my wings spot. Thank you franks for the deliciousness you served for us.
This place is best if you are craving good chicken wings made to order they have 8 flavors. Don’t mind the location of this place saying is true “do not judge the book by its cover” per say. You won’t regret coming here. Staff are nice, attended. Chicken wings is very hot and crunchy, don’t forget to order there waffle fries it is also made to order. You should stop by if you are craving some yummy fried chicken.
4.9/5. Franks for the memories in Mundelein. Had wings, Curly fries, and mozzarella sticks. Ordered wings extra crispy as I like them overdone and temperature hot. Got a side of hot sauce to dip the fries and sticks. Winger came perfectly hot and crispy! Fries were fresh from the fryer. Same with mozzarella sticks. And I still eat here after being 20 years removed from my one of my first places of employment. And they even let me go cause this punk kid couldn’t fry a wing. Haha. This place has QUALITY food. They do it right! Pretty much every time. They lose .1 because I had to ask the server to bring the hot sauce I order on the side.
BEST WINGS IN LAKE COUNTY!!!! These are by far the best wings in the area. Stay away from those commercial conglomerates and stay local.
